Writing Research Study
Hello,
We are seeking volunteers who are middle school students participating in English or Social Studies classes and who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to help them communicate.
Parents of middle school students are asked to nominate a general and special education teacher serving their child. The studentʼs completion of a writing assignment will be observed and interviews will be conducted with the student, parent, and teachers. Parental consent is required for participation.
This study is for research purposes, through The Pennsylvania State University.

You can help discover more about the writing experience of individuals in middle school who have complex communication needs (Such as individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, or down syndrome).

Samuel Sennott, PhD candidate at The Pennsylvania State University and co-creator of the original Proloquo2Go for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, is the principal investigator of an exciting new research study focused on the writing experience.
Thank you for your interest.
